WHAT IS ELECTROSTIMULATION ?

Electrostimulation, also known as EMS (Electrical Muscle Stimulation), is a training technology that replicates and amplifies the natural process by which your brain activates your muscles. By sending electrical impulses directly to the muscle fibers, EMS produces deeper, more uniform, and more effective contractions than traditional training.

AT IRON BODYFIT

Each session begins with a personal Tencel outfit—a breathable, antibacterial textile designed for comfort and performance. Your coach then installs the EMS equipment on the suit:

A vest for the upper body
A belt positioned around the glutes
Bands on the thighs
Bands on the arms

HOW DOES ELECTROSTIMULATION WORK ?

During the session, you perform simple movements—such as squats, planks, rows, and lunges—while electrical impulses intensify your voluntary muscle contractions. This combination of movement and stimulation creates a highly efficient muscular workload, engaging all major muscle groups, both superficial and deep, for fast and long-lasting results.
Muscle groups activated :

Electrostimulation activates all major muscle groups simultaneously at an intensity that is difficult to achieve with traditional training alone. It also targets deep stabilizing muscles that are essential for balance, core strength, and long-term postural improvement. By working agonist and antagonist muscles together, EMS helps rebalance the body, reduce muscular compensation, and prevent tension-related chronic pain.

Stimulating the pectoral muscles strengthens the upper body and helps maintain bust support. It promotes a straighter posture and balanced muscle activation, essential for shoulder stability. Improved local vascularization contributes to increased tone in the area and better tissue firmness, providing a firmer and more supported look, without aiming for excessive bulk.

Electrostimulation enables deep, coordinated activation of the entire abdominal core, including both superficial and deep muscles involved in trunk stability. The induced contractions improve muscle tone, enhance postural support, and provide effective tissue reinforcement. Repeated stimulation boosts local circulation, contributing to improved skin quality and firmness. The abdomen appears tighter, better supported, and visually smoother.

EMS precisely targets the biceps and triceps, improving muscle contraction quality and overall arm tone. By stimulating local circulation, it contributes to improved skin firmness and a visible reduction in sagging. Muscle strengthening supports skin tissues, resulting in more toned, smoother, and more harmonious arm contours.

Applied to the back, EMS acts on the deep and superficial muscles responsible for spinal support. It contributes to improved posture, reduced muscle tension, and better overall balance. Regular activation also promotes better tissue firmness and visible tone, for a firmer and more stable back in daily life.

Targeted stimulation of the gluteal muscles allows for intense and deep activation, promoting firming and improved contour. Repeated contractions stimulate blood and lymphatic circulation, contributing to improved skin quality and a gradual reduction in the appearance of cellulite. The muscle provides greater support to the tissues, offering a visually firmer, more toned, and naturally enhanced effect.

EMS for the legs acts on the thighs and calves, improving muscle tone and firmness. Stimulating local circulation promotes better tissue oxygenation and contributes to a feeling of lightness. It also contributes to a visible improvement in skin quality, resulting in smoother, firmer, and visibly more toned legs.

WHY EMS ?

EMS is the ideal solution for anyone looking for fast, visible, and long-lasting results—even with a busy schedule. By amplifying muscle activation, every movement becomes more effective: you train harder, deeper, and smarter.
In just 25 minutes, your entire body is engaged at a level comparable to several hours of traditional training.

It’s a short, intense workout with no heavy loads—minimizing joint stress while maximizing efficiency.
